Description
Vibraphone Century is a celebration of the centennial of the ivention of the vibraphone. Much has been written about its colorful history in jazz and popular music, and efforts to bring it into the orchestral tradition. This collection is a view of the next hundred years--the development of a sophisticated and challenging concert repertory. Included are the following:
