First pair of Vater's I've used and was very impressed. I was drawn to the stick because of my love of fusion jazz, I liked it! It had a great feel and was very comfortable right from the start. It has great balance and like the stick rebound especially on the tom's. Rimshot's sounded great and the taper and weight were good for me. The tip sounds great on the ride, looks like I'll be buying more Vater Fusion!
