Legacy Brushes

Comments:

The brushes were hard to push out and they fell apart immediately. Got it replaced at a local drum store. These Legacy Brushes should have a recall!

Great Brushes

Comments:

These brushes are great, in SO many ways. I will say up front that THE one drawback with them is that expansion and retraction are a bit stiff. However, mine have gotten a bit better with time and I've never had an issue with the plastic sleeves. The sound is great, nice and smooth, and they project more than the Heritage Brushes. The feel is awesome. The wood handle is really comfortable and natural. As an added perk, it opens up possibilities for rim clicks and other effects. Well-balanced. Everything about this brush is ideal for playing. And, not that it should factor into your decision, but... they are pretty beautiful. Overall, great, great product.

Not as great as I thought

Comments:

After using these for awhile I have to retract my previous review. They feel good in your hands while playing but retraction/extension is extremely stiff and the plastic sleeves on the wood shafts often pop out. Really too bad, too because well they feel good while performing. Still, they need to be functional. In a gig it's a real drag trying to pull them out and putting them away.
