Description
Vic Firth SD1 General Drumsticks are one of the best selling sticks ever made. Vic Firth designed the SD1 drumstick with a small round tip and short taper, making it an ideal drumstick for all types of playing: orchestral, concert band and drum set. Vic Firth SD1 drumsticks are a must-have stick for all drummers.
The SD1 was the first stick Vic Firth designed while playing with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Vic needed something new for snare drum and no drumsticks on the market fit his needs. Today, they part of the American Custom series and are turned from high-quality rock maple. The sticks are matched for weight and pitch to insure that they are the "Perfect Pair".

I have used Vic Firth sticks for years. Excellent quality. They feel good in the hand. These SD1s are no different. Great product.

Not much more you can say, these are the best selling for a reason. Good sound and cheap enough so if they break you don't feel so bad
