i was looking for something with a little more heft that wouldn't feel like it was limiting my speed, really enjoying using these so far. The added durability is a nice bonus.

I'm a student of a musical secondary school where I study percussion. I found this stick a year ago, and it's awesome. The best thing is that it's very versatile. You can use it when playing a classical snare drum exercise because it's not too big, also for marching snare drumming because it has a very good balance and it's not too "weak"/thin, plus for rock or jazz rock drumming on a drum-set as well. It's something in between. It's indeed thin enough to play with fitness, but can provide enough power for heavy hitting, and marching exercises. I also like that it's quiet long, I don't really like short sticks. In my case, it's not the most durable stick, because of the high time usage that I use it in almost every situation, but this varies individually. Anyway, it's one very affordable stick for what it gives you, I can recommend it to anyone, give it a try!
