Here's the honest truth about triangle clips - they need to hold the instrument without deadening the sound, they need to be sturdy when clipped, and they need to be comfortable to hold, THAT'S IT. These clips do all of those things as well as any other clip on the market (and I would actually go so far as to say that between the size, shape, and the fact that they're made from wood I actually find them MORE comfortable to hold than some other options). The fact that they're only $8 is just the icing on the cake. There is no need to spend $40(?!) on a "fancier" clip; it won't be any better than this one with the only difference being lightness of your wallet.

While the clip is solid and affordable, the string on both items I ordered broke within one rehearsal. I am going to have to replace with a stronger material.

Great little clip. Mine only has one loop and its not a secure-a-tie. With a simple Amazon order I added them to this clip and my Danmar triangle holder and I'm good to go. Other than that there's not a whole lot to say. 4 stars for the single non secure-a-tie loop. If Steve Weiss upgrades back to the double loop it would be 5 stars.
