Great for introcucing rhythm

Comments:

I use this book for percussion and drum set students alike. I love the order in which the rhythms are presented, as well as the simple play-a-long CD, which makes practicing a bit more interesting than just using a metronome. I usually introduce the drum-specific rudiments (rolls, flams etc...) a bit earlier than the book does, but you can do that at the student's own pace. Highly recommended!
