Yamaha MB-8300 series marching bass drums are Yamaha's flagship marching bass drums used by top ensembles in Drum Corps International, WGI and beyond.

All shells in the 8300 Field-Corp Series feature 7-ply maple for superior tonality and projection. Within this series, all bass drums have a 14" depth for uniformity of tone and visual appearance. Air vent diameter and placement is individually optimized for each drum within this line, optimizing uniformity and musicality. Ample power and tone is provided in these lightweight shells, that are manageable and mobile for performers in high demand movement situations.
