The shells feature 45-degree bearing edges, optimizing head resonance and ensuring consistent tonal quality over years of professional use. Tuning is efficient and precise, thanks to Pearl's Silent Tension Lug System. This system includes oversized, coarse-threaded 8mm T-handle tension rods and claws, enabling quick adjustments in varying acoustic environments. Each contact point is insulated to eliminate unwanted noise, ensuring a rattle-free performance.

Each drum is equipped with 100% Maple hoops for uniform tension and dual air vents for enhanced response. Finished by hand in a sophisticated #210 Matte Walnut Stain, the Philharmonic Concert Bass Drums come ready for the stage, complete with Remo Fiberskyn heads, straight out of the box.
