I remember when ahead sticks were still fairly new and as a kid, I always felt maybe they werent there for the long haul and probably werent very good. Today however, I was looking for a lighter weight, shorter stick that reduced vibrations when playing on my electronic kit, which im mostly confined to these days. In that respect, I quite like them. They have their own unique feel to them, there is reduced vibration but it changes the way the stick feels like it bounces too. It took a tiny bit of time to get used to but overall I seem to have adjusted to it. I would say they were pretty perfect except one of the sticks has a super small vibration in it that I can feel on a pad, which irks me a little bit, i suspect removing a tip and replacing it with glue in the threads would help but its not that annoying yet. The other issue is that as interchangeable as the parts are, it's really hard to be able to find all the tips and sleeve variants in stock anywhere, so thats also a little frustrating. Overall though, its a solid stick, definitely will last a long time, good for electronics and I suspect would sound just fine behind the kit too.

Not bad at all

I got these to reduce some vibrations when I play on my electronic set and they certainly do help with that. The sticks feel nice and solid and they play very well. Im quite taken with them honestly, but the only small downside is a very (VERY) minor vibration i can hear more than feel when playing on a very hard pad surface like an outworld percussion pad. I'm actually even considering different sizes because I think on the electronic kit, their 5B diameter is more in the range of what I need, however, size doesnt factor into my opinion at all, that ones on me. (I ordered a smaller diameter stick for the off chance I would like them on an acoustic kit and Im more of a gentle player than a monster)
