Description

The Dream 16" Bliss Series Crash Cymbal has a musicality that is hard to find in many modern cymbals. Dream Bliss series cymbals are hand hammered before and after the lathing process. Some of these 16" Dream Bliss Crashes will rival vintage Turkish cymbals costing hundreds of dollars more.

The Dream Cymbals Bliss series harkens back to the sound of the 50s and 60s. The Bliss 16" Crash because of its thinner, lighter form gives you a great complex wash with a nice decay. Many players note that the Dream 16" Bliss Crash is easy to get to open up even in quiet settings. It's an amazing cymbal at an unbelievable price.

I am happy with using this cymbal as a suspended cymbal for a small concert band. Very responsive, nice color, opens up easily.

A perfect small crash for blues or jazz. Has just the right amount of sustain. And less than half the price of the Z brand comparable cymbal. I highly recommend this cymbal!

Steve Weiss Music did a great job here. The cymbal was far from Dream Cymbals description.

I use this as a hand crash most of the time, for hand drum set-ups. I like the very low pitch and dark sound, but it is too trashy-sounding for everything. This also works reasonably well as a small ride. The stick definition is good and the pitch is lower than most 16-inch cymbals. These are extremely variable though, so it is best if you can hear them in person.

excellent for rolls

While this cymbal was designed for drum set use, I personally like it better with mallets as part of a percussion set-up. It has a very dark sound, so if you are into brighter-sounding cymbals for rock or similar this is probably not the best choice, but for lighter playing or especially if you are using it for rolls it is a great buy, especially for the low price!
