It's well made and sturdy, as I've come to expect from Hercules products. It doesn't seem in danger of tipping over even with some very heavy items on it. The height range seems narrow but it works pretty well. The top is literally just a basic stamped metal tray, and the padding is standard wavy foam like you get in all kinds of packaging. This seems like a product that should be half the price. Think hard about if a standard music stand and a towel wouldn't suit your needs just fine.

A fine trap table. Probably the best one I've ever seen.

I'm worried that the Hercules Table Stand connection between the table and the stand will not be strong enough to last long. The table screws onto the stand, and, while the stand is metal, the fixture it screws into beneath the table is plastic. That fixture should also have been made of some metal.

I like the 1 open side with 3 other sides protected by a small rim, and the foam is very quiet when picking up and replacing instruments. Very sturdy. However, the rubber that lines the rim wasn't firmly secure when shipped. Easily fixed though. I would like a little more flexibility in its movements, i.e. the ability to slightly angle the stand would help it fit around other stands, instruments, etc.
