Description
One of Scott Joplin's lesser known ragtime pieces, Eugenia is a much more expansive piece than most rags with a few surprising extended sections. In this more advanced arrangement for solo xylophone, the soloist gets to show off their abilities by handling fast octave passages, short rolls interspersed between melodic lines, and lightning quick ornamentations. Eugenia can also be found in The Golden Age of Ragtime, a compilation of five classic ragtime pieces arranged by Ralph Hicks and Eric Rath!
This piece comes as a full, bound folio containing both the full ensemble and piano scores. It also includes a CD-ROM with a full ensemble recording and individual parts for printing.
