I am generally happy with the Steve Weiss Liberty One products. They are decent quality for a decent price. But, this tone foam fell off a week or two after putting it on our drums. I will not be purchasing this tone foam again.
Just foamed my new 4 Pearl basses from SW with this product. I foamed the shell; only wish that would have made it a 5 star is that the bass drums bearing edge's are beveled and would have been nice to have the foam beveled as such. One can only assume that the adhesive will hold to the inner shells over time, as i can't see foaming each head change would be economical. I did not have to use my contact cement....yet. Good product, give 'er a rip.
I have purchased this product in the past with great results, but this time the adhesive on the FOAM side did not stick. The tone foam fell off the drum shell and the adhesive strip remained on the drum shell. I will try again with remaining foam and hope for better results.
