Description

The Liberty One Asalato is modeled after a traditional West African percussion instrument, is also known as a kashaka or cas cas. This instrument features two small wooden spheres with a lite shaker fill, connected by a string. When played, one sphere is held in the palm while the other is swung, creating a distinctive clacking sound upon impact. Additionally, shaking the Asalato produces a vibrant rattling noise.

This is the first Kashaka I've owned, while I'm not one to buy an instrument without putting my hands on it first, I was confident Steve Weiss wouldn't send me a lemon, I was right. It's the real thing, not a toy. It (they) sounds & feels great! I'll be ordering another (as soon as I really figure out what I'm doing with this one!) This really levels up my shaker options. highly recommend.
