Getting ready for Christmas I wanted to upgrade my bells. After listening to recordings of my different options I decided that Weiss Sleigh Bells sound just as good as most of the more expensive options. The Ludwig bells do sound different but not really better to my ear. Of course generic Chinese bells on Amazon were a lower cost option but they had poor reviews saying they were not loud enough, had poor tone and none had recordings I could listen to. I decided to buy Weiss and I'm glad I did, the sound is very pleasing and the volume is plenty. Steve Weiss is on my nice list.

A very nice and classic sound. Not really compromising anything by opting for this "budget" version. Recommend.

I was delighted to find the quality of the Steve Weiss Sleigh Bells to be on par with any that I have heard.
