The taper on these sticks is unlike that of any other sticks I have played. The feeling of these sticks on my snare drum feels awkward (almost like its back-heavy). I would need more time playing these sticks on a lower tuned drum set to accurately evaluate these sticks in the environment where they belong. However, these sticks allow for heavy playing when necessary in a big band setting. I would recommend trying them at least once!

I love the idea of these sticks. great shape, great balance, great sound (to a certain extent), but vic seems to be using the lighter hickory for these sticks which is unfortunate coz I really wish this stick had the added beef of extra wood. Haven't been able to find a dense pair from any place I've gotten them.

Best stick I've ever felt on a cymbal. This stick rebounds effortlessly and produces a great tone on both drums and cymbals, but its best sound is on a ride. Great for driving a big band and great articulation so your sound is pronounced. Highly recommended.

Great feel and balance to the sticks. Not too top heavy since the shoulder is farther down adding to the sense of balance.
