These sticks have a nice and soft rebound. They are also fairly light. Although I requested for a high-pitched, matching pair and basically ended up getting two different sticks.
The Roger Carter Vic Firth Corpsmaster Snare Drumsticks feature a long taper that puts mass to the back of the stick for noticeable response and flow. The taper flanges back out slightly at the neck for added durability and focused power at the tip. A round tip provides excellent articulation at every dynamic level.

These sticks are very light and they feel great on the hands. They are perfect for passages that need to be lower in volume but bright without having to sacrifice velocity.
After several years of looking and buying just about every brand of snare stick on the market, I finally found THE one for me! I prefer a lightweight stick and an added bonus is the texture of it. The finish, at least on the two pairs I've purchased have a tacky feel and that keeps it from slipping in my hands. I do not tape my sticks. The bead has a super articulate sound to it! I hope Roger Carter stays with Vic Firth for years to come because he has designed a winner!
The sticks have a really smooth rebound and they feel really soft in your hands.
