Love the fit of these bags. It's snug, but not too snug to make it difficult to get the bags on/off. The protection is perfect for relatively gentle storage. I don't know if I would throw these in a full trailer without consideration, but for my uses, they are perfect.

As advertised, these cases fit my 4 piece Gretsch Catalina kit perfectly. They are made of sturdy materials (as most Galaxy bags) and should last a long time with gentle use. I do wish that the Tom/kick cases had a removable shoulder strap like the snare bag does, but their handles are placed in convenient spots for carrying. Best part? I don't have to remove my kick lift; it fits in the case while still attached to the drum.

Great case set for jazz size drums. Tough construction. Fit is on the roomy side, a 9x13 fits in the 8x12 case for example. Smart choice for the gigging jazz drummer.

I purchased this set for a new (to me) Catalina Club Jazz kit and am happy to report that there is enough room in the bass drum bag to hold the drum WITH the riser on. That's good news and saves a step in tear-downs and setups. Similarly, the 12x8 bag has no problem holding the isolation mount along with the drum. The floor tom legs should be removed, however, not just collapsed. The bags have good straps, good handles, and enough padding to protect from doorway dings, floor scratches, and other happenstance knocks. They look great and the zippers function smoothly. The only improvement I can think of would be to add some sort of clear plastic slot for a nametag or business card. I put luggage tags on mine.

I bought these for a gift for my son who has the Catalina Club Jazz drum set. The bags look well made and the jazz sizing was the reason for the purchase. I think he will get a lot of use out of these cases and will protect his drums in the process. Shipping arrived on time and as expected. Thank you.

Perfectly sized for my Gretsch Catalina Club. 18" bass drum fits in bag WITH the lift spacer still connected to rim. Tom fits as well WITH the hanger on. Have used them a half dozen times already. Won't last forever but does anything?

These cases are great and fit my Gretsch Catalina Club kit perfectly. The kick drum case even had enough room for the floor riser that came with the drum. I was a little worried that I would have to take it off, every time I packed the kit up to go to a gig. Highly recommend!

So glad that I bought these bags. I spent a lot of time trying to find the perfect set of bags that would fit the uncommon sizes of the Gretsch Catalina kit and this was by far the best option! The bags are very durable and sturdy. The handles make it a breeze to load in and out and I don't have to worry about dings or scratches from the shells hitting each other during transport. Highly highly recommend!

I was searching for cases for the Yamaha Stage Custom Bebop set and came across this H&B Galaxy pack. Most other cases I own have extra room so I gave these a shot (SC bop kit has a 18x15 BD which is 1" deeper than the Gretsch). They fit perfectly and I actually like the more snug fit. So if you have the Yamaha Stage Custom Bop set these cases are great for the money and they will definitely fit. The padding is far more robust than the set of RoadRunner bags I have for my larger kit, as are the zippers. You really cant beat this quality at this price point. Lastly, my order was delivered to Rockville, MD in less than 24 hours with the standard shipping option. I am a long-time Steve Weiss customer and will remain so.

These bags are a great bang for your buck. There might be nicer bags but these feel very well made (big heavy zippers that won't break or come apart with a tug), thick materials and adequate padding. (I won't be tossing my kit around in them or piling keyboard or gear cases on top of them - these are not hard shell protection) But for careful use they are fantastic. They are large enough to make putting your drums in them easy yet not so large as to feel like you got the wrong set of bags for your Catalina Jazz kit. You won't find a better set of bags at this price anywhere... I looked! Very happy with them and SteveWeissMusic shipped them as promised so I had them in time for my first gig with them. Great product - Order now!

These are great quality soft bags. You likely will not find a better deal than this for bags of this quality. They fit my Gretsch Catalina kit perfectly. Quite happy with them.

At first I am anxious about the quality of the Galaxy bag, it is not expensive at all and it comes up with 4 bags. And I am wrong once I got them. All the bags like tailor-made for my SQ2 Sonor bop kit. And the padding is just enough for protection. The construction quality is very good and handles are easy to carry. A must buy item when you own a bop kit

Speedy delivery (less than a week) and the product is excellent, as others have stated. Fits drums perfectly and padding is just what we needed for light travel and gigs.

These drum bags are well made, and, as advertised, fit the Gretsch Catalina jazz kit perfectly. The tom bags have extra room to accommodate the legs and mounts, although the bass drum is a tight fit. I knocked off one star only because of the bags' zipper design, which does not allow the lids to fold back neatly, even when zipped all the way back, making it somewhat awkward to insert the drums into the bags, especially the bass drum. However, given the price and overall quality, these are a very good value for the money. I was also very pleased with Steve Weiss Music's prompt delivery after I placed the order. The bag kit arrived at my house within three days.

I just bought this Humes & Berg bag set for my 2-yr.-old Gretsch New Classic 4-piece kit. They're made well and the drums fit nicely. The 2 zippers on each bag seem to be heavy duty and durable. Also, the bag for the rack tom even has some extra width to be able to hold the Gretsch suspension mount; and the floor tom bag has an extra inch or so which allows for the leg mounts to fit well without being too tight when the drum is placed in. I'd recommend this set to protect your jazz kit.

The bags were everything the reviews said they were. I was actually surprised at the high quality construction since the bags were inexpensive. The padding is great and the zippers are first class. Why would you want to spend more for other bags. Save the money and buy more drum sticks! Delivery from Steve Weiss was prompt. I would order products again from Steve Weiss. Great quality, very nice protection, excellent fit. Comfortable handles as well. Bags can all store inside the bass case when drums are in use. Shipping was very fast and the price is right.

I'm just getting back into drumming after twenty years away (had switched to being a full-time guitarist) and recently picked up a set of Gretsch CCJ drums which sound amazingly good. I wanted to get a set of bags for the drums and not spend any more than necessary but also not pinch on quality. After much internet research I found this excellent set by Steve Weiss Music to be the best deal out there. I was a little concerned about whether these bags (H&B's budget line) would be substantial enough for regular use but when I received them I was very happy to find that they have a high level of quality, padding, hardware and overall workmanship. They're astonishing really, especially for the price, so if you're thinking about getting this bag set for your CCJ set definitely don't hesitate.

bought these for a kit in "bop" sizes - 18/10/13, with a 14" snare. nice bags, look great, well made, excellent price for the set. if you need a useful set of bags for drums in bop sizes, look no further.

I had a Gretsch Catalina Club Jazz kit on order, and was going to need some cases so that I could travel with them. The best part of this set of bags is that they fit, and the cost was right. I didn't have to even get the measurements for the drums. I was lucky they had these laid out specifically for the kit. I didn't have to look around for each individual case. All the cases have handles. Smaller ones have straps to carry, and the bass drum has an extra one on the side that the drum head faces. They collapse down when you're not using them for easy storage. I recommend getting these cases from this company if you have this kit.

Product came quickly. The bags are very strong and cushioned. Stitching seems very good. Each bag comes with a handle for easy transport. This was a very good deal for the price. Now my kit will last a whole lot longer with these cases!

I bought these bags for my Tama Silverstar, and they fit great, even with the extra hardware (folding kick drum stand and STAR mount on the tom). Sturdy and well made!

I bought these soft cases for my Gretsch Catalina Club set. I was reluctant to buy these sight unseen. The ordering process was very easy and the delivery was on time, although a little pricey. I'm very impressed with the construction and quality of the Humes & Berg Bag Set. The fabric, zippers, sewing and padding are adequate and they are MADE IN THE USA!! The only drawback is that the bags were not lined with inner sheepskin-like padding as Uncle Mike's bags are. I would purchase these bags again and would purchase from Steve Weiss Music!
