Great mallets. Only a small difference in sound between these and the CL-X4, but the head size and feel are different.

These are the best general xylophone mallets I've ever seen. They have a nice clear, but far from harsh, attack and create a nice short resonance afterward. They also feel amazing in the hands. They sound very similar to the Malletech browns, but better. They aren't that great on glockenspiel though and they tend to make glock keys bounce, so the the Malletech browns are better in that regard. Overall, a mallet no one should be without.
These mallets are the best ones that I have used on my synthetic-bar xylophone. They yield a substantial sound without harshness.
These will punch with great presence on xylo and with warm power on glock. One of the finest mallets for large concert ensembles I've ever played with.
Easily the best Xylo mallets I've come across in a long time!! Everything about this mallet is perfect, from the weight, the flexible shaft, to the sound! Don't wait; buy now!
The feel and weight of these are the best I've ever experienced buying xylophone mallets. Shafts are the perfect length, and flexibility. The weight is just right for producing a full tone that makes it to the back of the hall.
The shaft is a little shorter than most mallets, and the ball has some weight to it. It has a nice balance. It's a shade darker and a than the malletech hard tan mallets, and harder than the malletech browns. It's right in the middle. Nice addition to the collection.
