Getting ready for Christmas I wanted to upgrade my bells. After listening to recordings of my different options I decided that Weiss Sleigh Bells sound just as good as most of the more expensive options. The Ludwig bells do sound different but not really better to my ear.
Of course generic Chinese bells on Amazon were a lower cost option but they had poor reviews saying they were not loud enough, had poor tone and none had recordings I could listen to.
I decided to buy Weiss and I'm glad I did, the sound is very pleasing and the volume is plenty.
Steve Weiss is on my nice list.

A very nice and classic sound. Not really compromising anything by opting for this "budget" version. Recommend.

I was delighted to find the quality of the Steve Weiss Sleigh Bells to be on par with any that I have heard.

I purchased these Weiss Steel Sleigh Bells, because they sound the best.
Last week I noticed that one of the bells fell off from the plastic holder that is stapled to the wood.
I only used the bells twice.
Called Steve Weiss Music and customer service rep Jim O'Connor was excellent and replaced the sleigh bells and didn't want the broken bells back. So now I have two.
Thank you Jim and Steve Weiss Music. You have a new customer always.

Beautiful, full but nice and cheery, not dark sounding. Not too heavy. Well made. Love the price for the quality!

These sleigh bells work great and have a good bright sound. Construction seems solid, I've only had them a couple of weeks, but I think they will last a long time.

Bought these sleigh bells to use for our handbell concert. Good quality instrument, very reasonable price. Sounded great at the concert - very happy.

These sleigh bells have a very nice sound. They are loud enough to cover up the sound of a full orchestra if played as loud as possible.

I have yet to have any problems with Weiss brand instruments. As with my slapstick review, this produces the desired sound at a reasonable price.
