Vic Firth STH Thom Hannum Marching Snare Drumsticks feature a round tip with a very long taper and thick neck. Offers great control and response, especially at low dynamic levels. Superior sound for "ride cymbal" effect. Length: 16 5 /8" Diameter: .690"
The Vic Firth STH Thom Hannum is simply the best marching stick on the market. Controlling the low levels makes the drumline sound musical. Can't wait to see the Beast!

Good Sticks
Comments:
These sticks have been good for us the last 2 years. They have great balance and are good for control. Having a relatively small horn line, the smaller beads allow the students to play with some aggression without overbalancing the winds. As always, Vic Firth does a good job of pitch-matchng their sticks as well.

Quite a surprise!
Comments:
I stumbled across a pair of these sticks at a local music store. I decided to get them because I really like the weight and the diameter of the stick makes for a great feel! I personally like them because for me they're quite nice for my rudimental studies. The tip gives a very nice rebound and the articulation that this stick provides is very clear and precise. I also found that with this Hannum model, I'm able to control it better than just about any other stick I've tried. A very good snare stick!

The Best!!
Comments:
I ordered these a few weeks ago and I have to say they are the perfect modern flavored tenor stick. Perfect length, the long taper helps control shots and inner beats moving around the drums while still producing a great quality of sound. So for all you tenor players out there, I'd very well recommend trying these.
Peace!

Great Control
Comments:
I am a band director and always having students use different sticks. This one seems to be the best as far as control, dynamics, and comfort that I have come across. Will only use this stick from now on.

Dead at times
Comments:
I used to love playing with these and had my students on my line use them until we started getting to many dead pairs. They are supposed to be the "perfect match" or pair or whatever, and so many times one or both sticks would be dead. If you order them off the net your screwed. I really like these sticks though. If they didn't have that problem we would use them more often.

Not Bad
Comments:
The stick is ok overall. they are a little skinny for my taste and I also find them to be a little short. There are better sticks available.

Great sticks
Comments:
This is probably the best marching stick on the market, it plays really well and has a great sound on snare. This stick is thick and plays through the drum head with great response at all dynamic levels. In a line this stick is very loud and durable, gives great rebound as well everyone should use this stick!!!
