The Adams Concert Series MCKF43 Synthetic Marimba is constructed using Adams specially designed Synthetic bars.

These bars are designed specifically for both outdoor and indoor use to suit all of your performing needs.Adams New Synthetic bars offer a warm sound, superior projection, and unmatched durability to the sun and heat of outdoor performances. These bars are full-size and graduated and constructed with the same precise tuning and voicing as the Artist Marimbas.

Tuned through the sixth overtone, all Adams bars offer complete control over all aspects of the marimba sound. Precise tuning and voicing provides for a balanced sound through the entire range of the instrument.

Resonators are welded, not riveted, and offer the utmost strength and safety from mechanical noise.

Both the Voyager and the Field Frame allow for effortless adjustment to a wide range of playing heights. Covers and Mallets included.

Great Marimba!

The college where I go has 2 of these as their primary marching marimbas, and they are fantastic! It is 90 degrees in the summer during camp and gets down below 10 degrees during the end of the season. After 7 years these marimbas are still going strong! The bars are all great and the frames have held up wonderfully! We could not have asked for a better product! We have the vibraphones and xylophones with these frames as well, and everything works as great as the day we bought them! Pearl makes accessories to fit your aux needs on and off the field that will clamp right on to the frame. Cymbals and crotales on the front, toms on the sides, and mics on the bottom rail! 2" rails all around to clamp anything and everything to!

Best bang for your buck

If you're looking for a marimba that sounds great, can mount a ton of equipment, and is super easy to transport, look no further. I've used every single brand out there pretty much and no other field frame touches this one. Easy to move and the wheel locks WORK (and are simple to use). The school I teach at bought one last year and is buying a 2nd (and possible 3rd) one this coming fall. The synthetic bars are especially great where we rehearse, since it's always hot & humid. The keys never go dead like some brands will. Comes with a great cover as well.
