Comments: The IP1003 is a great mallet for upper-register playing in both indoor and outdoor ensemble settings. The balance and build of this mallet will facilitate technique and muscle building in most all players regardless of level. Although experienced players will maintain dynamic control, I would only recommend this mallet for situations where the upper register of the marimba must speak clearly and brightly.
