Tenor Mallet Excellence

Comments:

I am the percussion director for my old high school. I was skeptical about using these for my quad players because there isn't much information from others who have used this mallet. No reviews anywhere on the internet. So I took a shot in the dark and took a chance. I am glad I took that chance. The mallet produces a nice, bold, beefy sound from the quad heads rather than the articulate sound of a regular stick. I wanted strength without sacrificing sound and these mallets did the trick. They are noticeably heavier than sticks and you will have to spend some time getting used to them. One of the centers of the mallets broke off within a month of purchasing but still work well. Definitely should use them in warm-ups with alternating from sticks, and should be used from groups intermediate and up. Surely will be using this mallet from now on
