Humes & Berg Galaxy Cymbal Bag - 22" With Dividers

This Humes & Berg Galaxy Series Cymbal Bag will hold cymbals up to 22" in diameter, features built-in dividers to help protect and separate your cymbals inside the bag and an external Hi-Hat cymbal pouch.

Great affordable bag

Comments:

This bag feels like it will hold up for quite a long time, the construction is quite good. I have the tuxedo model as well, I like that one only a little better since the hi-hat compartment feels even sturdier, but overall both are really nice. I like that this one is soft and easier to carry. Great value :)

Great bag for the careful player

Comments:

Over the years I've downsized to a 4-piece jazz kit with 2 ride cymbals and a hi-hat. Since I nearly always transport own my gear and rarely have to trust a roadie not to damage it, I switched from a hard cymbal case to a bag. (I'd owned 2 rolling Enduro cases, on both of which the telescoping handle had ceased to function.) When my aging American Tuxedo bags began emitting a foul odor (presumably from rotting foam), I switched to the equally good but cheaper Chinese Galaxy bags. The Galaxy cymbal bag is lighter, thinner, and less protective than the Tuxedo bag, but it works great if you're careful. I use the handy outer compartment not for the hi-hat cymbals but for small parts and accessories.

Solid bag! No complaints.

Comments:

I recently bought a full line up of galaxy bags for my drums as well as this cymbal bag. Just like the drum bags the cymbal bag is great quality with solid handles with a clean and simple design. I like the dividers for the cymbals, makes them easy to pull out and put in. I would like to see one in the hi-hat pouch but you're usually pulling out both hats so It's technically not needed. I keep a bag of cymbal felts, an extra clutch and a drum key in the bottom of the bag for safe keeping and there's no issues.

decent inexpensive bag

Comments:

Good bag for the price point. I was surprised to find that it was roomy enough to fit my 24" ride cymbal. Obviously not as nice as more expensive bags but I expect it will hold up fine.

Comments:

Easy to handle and transport. Well made with removable interior cloth protector to separate cymbals. An outside zipper compartment also allows my 14" hi-hat cymbals to be transported without hitting other cymbals. The cymbal bag is also large enough to accommodate a good size stick bag.

A solid bag, good constuction

Comments:

Decided on this bag after reading consistent criticisms of a competitor's bag, citing weak construction of zippers and fasteners. This one works for me fits by 22" and 20" rides, separated with dividers to keep them from sliding against one another. Zippers, straps, velcro all good. The only thing I wish this bag had is a divider in the external hi-hat "pouch." I don't understand why an obvious, single divider wasn't part of the design -- do any drummers actually travel with just one of the pair?!

Comments:

Purchased the bag for my drummer son for Christmas. He was very delighted with the bag.. very durable with dividers to avoid metal to metal contact.
