The quality is great, the weight is balanced, and I love how they sweep. Great sticks.

Great Tenor Stick

I have not used too many tenor sticks, but so far this one is my favorite. It feels just like a snare stick, just shorter and much thicker, which helps produce a great sound. And the stick being short helps when you have to be extremely close to the drums, but even if you are far back it is not an issue. Probably the biggest challenge with this stick is doing scrapes, it is not too bad, just takes some adjusting. The only other sticks I have used are Vic Firth MTS1's and Promark Sean Vegas I believe. I would have to say that this one is my favorite at the moment. Easily would recommend to any tenor player or tenor line that uses Vic Firth. Hope this helps.

These tenor sticks work great. Beautiful sound when they are played in the zones. Amazing rim shots. These are the best pair of sticks any tenor player could get. They are light and allow a lot of free movement around the toms and provide great rebound from each head.

This tenor stick is definitely much better than the cookie tip kind. The cookie tip might make scrapes easier but the sound quality is not as loud, full and heavy as the corpsmaster. I have used this stick from the start. its short enough for crossovers and very flowing in diddles and French rolls. I recommend this stick to anyone in drum core or in their high school drumline. It might take a little bit of getting used to if you usually use a different type, but it adds very nice tone and richness to the sound quality.

The feel & sound of this Ralph Hardimon stick is great. The thought that had gone into the design of these sticks was apparent when I first played with them. Expect all the characteristics of wood; grip, rebound and durabilty. (Obviously it won't last like metal shaft mallets but I don't care.) I play with 5A's & 5B's on my drum kits, blast my quads with these. Moving back & forth is easy so it could be good for drummers new to quads. Have fun no matter.

For the price offered, great sticks. Sound great, are light, but this stick comes with cons. If you play show music with intensity, Latin for example, and do a lot of rim clicks I don't recommend these sticks. These sticks broke within the first couple of weeks of marching season.

These are awesome sticks. They sound and feel awesome when you play the tenors. Theyre really short and have really big heads. I'm really happy with my purchase and Steve Weiss Music did an awesome job of shipping them to me very promptly.
