This line of professional keyboard mallets by Innovative Percussion has been specifically designed for Belgium marimba artist Ludwig Albert III. The eight models, previously only offered on rattan handles, are now available on natural birch handles with specially weighted rubber cores of varying sizes and degrees of hardness.

The IP3106B is a medium hard marimba mallet with birch handles.

I absolutely love these mallets and they are my go to for my performances. The problem I have seemed to experience with them is that in each pair I order, some of the birch shafts are made from a super soft part of the wood. I have had to order 2 extra pair outside of the 2 I originally bought, because one mallet out of each pair I have had has broken. If the handles were more consistent, I would give 5 stars.
