Our 14 year old granddaughter asked for these sticks for her birthday. We purchased, and she is very pleased with them!
Description
Paul Rennick, Director and Arranger of the University of North Texas Drum Line, and Percussion Caption Head and Arranger of the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps, has designed the FS-PR signature model marching snare drumstick.
Paul's stick is constructed of heartwood hickory for increased durability. The FS-PR features a long taper and a larger diameter teardrop shaped bead creating a quick rebound and response, while still creating a full tone quality. The FS-PR is an excellent alternative in size and feel to the FS-1 and FS-BK, and a great addition to our Field Series marching snare drumstick line.

i like promark sticks but transitioning into hebron hs, this is a good stick. It is lighter than usual and feels good. maybe a barrel tip is better though

These sticks aren't very heavy, the ones I got were a tad lighter than my preference but they are a solid pair and for $3 cheaper than most of the other sticks they sell on this site.

my first pair of marching sticks I've had them for three years very durable sticks no cracks no pieces of wood missing best pair I've used I recommend them for beginners.
