Liberty One Mallet King Tour Bag - Product Information

The Liberty One Mallet King Tour still manages to hold all of your mallets, sticks, percussion accessories, and a laptop even at a slightly smaller size than the original Mallet King. The bag opens from the top and stands on its own, which makes it the perfect mallet bag for performance and practice. Adjustable dividers, compartments and pockets allow for organization, storage and transport percussion mallets and accessories. An over the shoulder messenger bag style adjustable strap allows for left or right shoulder transport along with extra padding allowing for balanced and comfortable transport even when the bag is fully loaded.

Every percussion situation requires different selections of mallets and gear. The main compartment is large with removable dividers which you can customize to meet your needs, whether you are traveling with mallets, tambourines, shakers, etc. The front flap provides pockets for quick and easy access to sticks and mallets during performance when the bag is open. Side pockets provide straps for smaller items so they don't get lost in the mix. Designated pockets are suited for sheet music, while the internal dividers can be arranged to accommodate a laptop or tablet computer.

Comments:

I had some large mallet bags that I set on the floor under my mallet instruments and they kept flopping on the floor when I moved anything so I gave them to students and put my mallets in Vic Firth stick cases. That only was a partial solution since I had to hunt through the horizontal pile of mallets to get a set of mallets. I bought both sizes of Mallet King bags and am very happy with them. I didn't think I would fill them up but I had an awfully lot of mallets. I love that they stand upright, divide the mallets so you can find them, and you can put your chosen mallets in the pockets on the top flap. I have not used all of the pockets and strap features but it looks well made and well worth the investment. The tour bag version is smaller and only has a shoulder strap but there are metal carrying rings at all four corners so you could convert it to a backpack style by adding another strap if you want to do that.

mallet bag

Comments:

This bag holds plenty of mallets, stands upright and appears to be made well. It definitely has helped me organize my vibe mallets. An easy purchase from Steve Weiss.

Awesome bag

Comments:

This thing is bigger than it looks. Way more space than I thought or need. Very well made too.

Great Bag!

Comments:

Bag is perfect. Although it wasn't the Liberty One bag I had thought I had purchased, it still works perfectly for what I need it for. There is plenty of space for pretty much all of your mallets and sticks; I keep like 30 pairs of mallets and sticks in there and there's still a bit of room. The one reason I give this a 4 instead of a 5 is because of the strap to carry it by. I had thought I ordered the one with backpack straps, but this one has as single, diagonal strap. It makes it awkward to carry, because of its size. But once you get used to carrying it by the top handle, you will have no problem.
