13 Morceaux, Op.76 by Jean Sibelius arranged for 5 octave marimba by Nathan Daughtrey. This four mallet piece is a wonderful set of three selections from the original collection of solo piano pieces by Sibelius. The first piece, Etude, provides a "boom-chick" accompaniment in the left hand and arpeggiated melody in the right hand, requiring much independence and dexterity on the part of the performer. The second piece, Carillon ("Bells"), helps work on arpeggios involving all four mallets in a beautiful chordal setting. The third piece, Humoresque, moves along at a brisk tempo and requires a quick right hand throughout.
