13 Pieces for Marimba by Gerhard Stengert and Felix Holzenkamp is a collection of solos scored for 4.3 octave marimba. The purpose of this collection is to facilitate the progress of two mallet into four mallet technique. For this reason, 10 of the 13 pieces in this book are composed for 3 mallets. Seven pieces can also be played as mallet duo on one instrument.
