I have an 18x12 bass drum and finding a case to fit was a challenge. I finally chose the 18x14 Liberty One case. It's a slight bit longer than I need, but close enough. What surprised me is how nice this case is for the price. I have other cases for my other drum sets, including cases from Protection Racket, Ahead, Endureo Pro and Protector that cost much more. The Liberty One case uses the same design as the Ahead soft cases, which means the zipper opens in such a way that it provides easy access to load the bass drum in. Much better than the more standard cylindrical shape of the Protection Racket. The exterior material seems very durable and should easily shed water if needed. The interior is a soft knit material, not a fleece like my Protection Racket, but soft and protective with enough padding to protect my drums for gigs. I would definitely buy another Liberty One case if the need arises for more cases.
