The Remo External Sub Muff'l Bass Drum System is a free floating external dampening system. Having the Muff'l on the outer side of the head allows the head to fully contact the bearing edge thus not interfering with the character of the shell and head. This system features an external plastic profile and slip-resistant dampening foam inserts that can be used with any bass drum head built without dampening.
