Evans Hydraulic Blue Bass Drumheads are crafted from two plies of thin film creating a very durable head. Hydraulic oil is used between the plys for dampening. The resulting sound is fat, deep and short sound similar to the sound of your favorite early 70's rock and roll. Hydraulic heads are very easy to tune and remain in tune. The Blue characteristics are a fast attack, short sustain and heightened durability.
