McClure-Natural Regression, A-Prepared V/M

A Natural Regression by Robert McClure is a three movement solo for marimba and prepared vibraphone (one player). Movements 1 and 3 are for marimba and the second is for vibraphone, prepared by placing dimes on the nodes of ten specific bars. Other extended techniques such as bowing, harmonics and pitch bending are also used in this movement. The marimba movements require a five octave marimba and four mallets. Duration: 26 minutes.
