A Snowwhite Little Bird arranged by Flor Verschueren is a six mallet solo scored for 4.6 octave (low E) marimba. Based on a Flemish song from the sixteenth century in which a boy who hasn't seen his lover for a long time asks a bird to bring her a lover. By the time the bird gets to the girl, she has already been married for over six months.
