The Acoustic Percussion OS5 Xylophone Mallets produce the lightest tone and have the lightest weight in the Orchestral series. OS5S is suitable for orchestral repertoire requiring a delicate timbre. This model is is also suitable for solo ‘Ragtime’ music. The S series mallets feature 1″ cores with brass weights ideal for smaller a glockenspiel or xylophone, in particular those with thin or narrow bars.
