Adams-31-Supercharged Solos

31 Super-Charged Solos is dedicated to my friend, mentor & teacher, the great Richard Weiner whom we lost on December 30, 2018. Richard Weiner was the most elegant musician that has ever graced the stages of concert halls all over the world playing percussion with the Cleveland Orchestra.

Rich's snare drum playing was extraordinary to experience live or on recordings. At every dynamic, he made the instrument sing with the execution of his triple bounce roll, and impeccable rhythm. This book is my attempt to help the advanced percussionist achieve the athleticism and technique required to give nuance to one's snare drum roll, and hopefully pay homage to Richard Weiner's contribution to the music world with his legacy of greatness.
