I received this xylophone as a Christmas gift. It has a beautiful sound. It's sturdy and very easy to move, yet it's a nice-looking concert instrument (doesn't look like clunky field show gear). I can't wait to take it to auditions and gigs because my old xylo kept falling apart en route. This Adams instrument arrived promptly in a well designed crate and was easy to assemble. Has convenient holders to keep 2 pair of mallets handy. The height adjustment is very helpful because I'm tall. I am really enjoying the richness of its tone.
