The Adrian Stefanescu F2 mallets produce a delicate yet sufficiently penetrating sound to travel the length of the hall.
Type: Wood. 1 inch ~ 25 mm Ball heads. Light weight.
Thin rattan shafts: approximately 1/4" ~ 7mm diameter.
Shaft length: 12 5/8"~ 320mm.
Purpose: Recital / Chamber Ensemble / Orchestra - light orchestration.
The Adrian Stefanescu line of mallets explores the vast qualities of wood, revealing a different sound-colour and feel with each model. All Adrian Stefanescu mallets are hand crafted using high quality exotic woods, and are precisely balanced.
The ASP Professional Performance Wood Mallets are intended to be played
on instruments with wooden bars. Using these mallets on a fiberglass
keyboard will produce damage to the mallet heads much sooner than normal.
The hardness of our mallets' heads is carefully measured to offer reasonable
durability when used as recommended, as well as a certain level of
protection to the rosewood bars. In addition, the beauty of their sound
can only become evident on wooden keyboards.
