Africa! by Jared Spears is a percussion sextet that avails the native musical colors and excitement of an African celebration. The score for this piece calls for authentic African percussion instruments, however optional substitutions using standard equipment may be made and are clearly explained in the score. Player 6:Triangle, Athletic Whistle, 2 Snare Drum Sticks, Gourd Scraped w/ Stick.
