O'Mahoney-African Montuno (SP)-B/X/P

African Montuno by Terry O'Mahoney for percussion sextet. This short piece utilizes two elements of music that have their origins in Africa - the bembe rhythm (also known as an African 6/8 pattern) and the montuno (the improvised section from Afro-Cuban music).
