Alamo-Azureus-M

Azureus is a jazz waltz inspired by the composer's wife's roses garden! The piece follows an AABACA form that serves as the basic structure for the improvised solos. The use of jazz harmonies, scales, and melodic patterns give this piece a different sound and feel from the traditional solo marimba repertoire.
