Description

The Junior Percussion series has been conceived in practice for use in practice. The ensemble pieces published here are "cut to size" for music school students. Each volume included two pieces which generally share the same orchestration and level of difficulty.

Samba Batu and Samba Cada are just "main themes" giving a larger group an opportunity to play samba. Of course, they can be played as notated, but the conductor can also use all of the twelve parts from both Batu or Cada. Through variation, 12 different realizations of the samba for 12 players may be realized with the included material.
