Arabian Sketches by Michael Varner for percussion octet. This piece is based on dances and rhythms from the mid-east.

Instrumentation:
Player 1 - bells, chimes, brake drum, wind chimes, bongos
Player 2 - xylophone, low hand drum (or conga)
Player 3 - vibraphone, four toms
Player 4 - marimba, low tom
Player 5 - ocean drum, tambourine or riq, marimba (shared with Player 4), triangle
Player 6 - doumbek, low gong, ocean drum or rainstick
Player 7 - chimes, finger cymbals, gong, low tom
