Shelton-Atrium Dance-M

Atrium Dance by Mark Shelton is a four mallet solo scored for 4.3 octave marimba. The ostinato figures in this piece make it possible for the performer to focus on technique and musicality. This short solo features a brief cadenza which allows the performer an opportunity to improvise using a limited number of pitches. This solo is appropriate for intermediate level players.
