The Audix ADX51 is a great all purpose instrument condenser microphone. The ADX51 is clear sounding, accurate in response and handles both close and distance miking for various acoustic instruments. Its cardioid polar pattern is very controlled and allows this mic to be used in an ensemble situation but still only pick up the focus instrument with bleed from other instruments.
