Aukofer-Hall Pass (SP)-B/X/P

Hall Pass by Michael Aukofer is a rondo form composition beginning and ending with typical classroom sounds. The body of the piece explores different timbres, implements, a minor key, and light dissonance. Together they convey the variety of emotions one may feel when leaving the classroom on a hall pass. Perhaps being alone in the hallway can be as freeing and fun-filled as we imagine it to be!
