Composer Antonio Ballestin says of this work: "Highway Soundscapes is based on my own experience of driving weekly more than 600 kmthrough different highways during the last three years. Through the four seasons and different hours of the day, the roads offered changing landscapes that gave inspiration for the program of the piece".
